Open LH front door
-
Lower LH front window
-
Open hood
- Run ODIN routine PROC_ICE_X_ENTER-SERVICE-MODEvia Toolbox: (link)

Enter headlight aiming mode through UI
Notevia Controls > Service > Adjust Headlights

Position headlight aimer in front of LH headlamp ~30cm distance from surface of headlamp lens, Adjust height as necessary to match center point of headlamp (~78cm)(778.7mm)
NoteOperating range for tester is 200-500mm, Ensure headlight aimer is on a surface level with the vehicle

Power on headlight aimer
NotePlug into power outlet if necessary

Use knobs on base to adjust headlight aimer level

Align headlight aimer perpendicular to vehicle
NoteUse visor/laser to line up the tester perpendicular to the axis between furthest fender bolts. If the headlight aimer can move between RH and LH headlights while maintaining the same laser angle projected onto the fender bolts, it is set correctly - perpendicular to the car

Select "Test US"

Select "Free Test"

Select "Headlight" and adjust to "SAE" using the + / - buttons

Select "Light" setting and adjust to "LED" using the + / - buttons

Repeat for "Height" option to adjust to 78CM using the +/- buttons

Select "OK"
-
Proceed past fog light settings
NoteSelect "OK"

Select the laser icon and adjust the tester horizontal and vertical position to LH headlamp marking
NoteMarkings can be difficult to spot, Use of a flashlight can aid in finding marks, align the vertical laser with the inner edge of the most inboard LED on the lower inboard array (see last image)

Turn off laser guide

Initiate LH headlight aiming
NoteSelect the LH low beam icon and select the low beam button at the bottom of the screen

Select "Left" then use the left scroll wheel on the steering wheel to adjust the beam level
NoteTarget 0.00", Tolerance +/- 1.00" Do not sit in vehicle as this will affect headlamp height. There may be a delay between scroll wheel input and actual light adjustment output. Vertical adjustment only, Different regions may require a counterweight of 75kg

Record results of LH Headlamp aiming
NoteSelect the "save" icon

Position headlight aimer in front of RH headlamp ~30cm distance from surface of headlamp lens, Adjust height as necessary to match center point of headlamp (~78cm) (778.7mm)
NoteOperating range for tester is 200-500mm, Ensure headlight aimer is on a surface level with the vehicle

Select the laser icon and adjust the tester horizontal and vertical position to RH headlamp marking
NoteMarkings can be difficult to spot, Use of a flashlight can aid in finding marks, Shift vertical beam outboard 66mm from marking to properly align with light output

Turn off laser guide

Initiate RH headlight aiming
NoteSelect the RH low beam icon and select the low beam button at the bottom of the screen

Select "Right" then use left scroll wheel on the steering wheel to adjust the beam level. Target 0.00
NoteTarget 0.00", Tolerance +/- 1.00" Do not sit in vehicle as this will affect headlamp height. There may be delay between scroll wheel input and actual light adjustment output.

Select the save icon to record results

Review test results of headlight aiming
NoteSelect the "save" icon

Close hood
-
Raise LH front window

Close LH front door
