Carrier - Side Shield - Outboard - 1st Row (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Remove the 1st row LH outboard sideshield. See .
  2. Remove outer side shield carrier front clips from LH front seat assembly.
  3. Partially lift outer side cover carrier upper shroud from LH front seat.
    Note
    Don't use too much force to prevent damage to the carrier and trim.
  4. Remove outer side cover carrier front from LH front seat.
    Note
    2x positioning clips, pull the carrier backward to release the positioning clips.

Install

  1. Install outer side cover carrier front to LH front seat
    Note
    2x positioning clips, push the carrier forward to fix the Positioning clips to the front left seat.
  2. Press carrier upper shroud into LH front seat.
    Note
    Can be adjusted properly to ensure that the carrier is installed in place, during installation don't damage the carrier and trim.
  3. Install outer side shield carrier front clips to LH front seat assembly.
  4. Install the 1st row LH outboard sideshield. See .
