1. Open LH front door

   

2. Lower LH front window

   

3. Move LH front seat forward
   Note

   Via UI > Seat Controls, Use steering wheel scroll wheel as needed

   

   

4. Open LH rear door

   

5. Lower LH rear window

   

6. Release seat belt retractor from LH front seat pretensioner
   Note

   Insert seat belt release tool in bottom of retractor to release

   

   

7. Remove bolt securing outboard side shield assembly from LH front seat assembly
   Note

   1x bolt, 8mm, 5 Nm, Ensure the front of the seat is high enough to access the 8mm bolt

   

8. Pull outward to release seat outboard side shield assembly tab from LH front seat assembly
   Note

   1x tab, Do not fully remove for risk of damage to the trim/switch pack/harness

   

   

9. Pull outward from upper part of trim panel to release outer cover clips from LH front seat
   Note

   2x clips, 1x positioning clip, Remove lower clips then upper positioning clip, Do not fully remove outer cover to avoid damage to surrounding components

   

   

   

10. Remove outboard side shield from LH front seat
    Note

    5x clips, Pull rear of trim outward then upward, Maneuver around cushion and pretensioner

    

    

    

11. Remove outer side shield carrier front clips from LH front seat assembly
    Note

    2x clips

    

12. Partially lift outer side cover carrier upper shroud from LH front seat
    Note

    Don't use too much force to prevent damage to the carrier and trim

    

    

13. Remove outer side cover carrier front from LH front seat
    Note

    2x positioning clips, Pull the carrier backward to release the Positioning clips

    

    

    

14. Install outer side cover carrier front to LH front seat
    Note

    2x positioning clips, Push the carrier forward to fix the Positioning clips to the front left seat

    

    

    

15. Press carrier upper shroud into LH front seat
    Note

    Can be adjusted properly to ensure that the carrier is installed in place, During installation don't damage the carrier and trim

    

    

16. Install outer side shield carrier front clips to LH front seat assembly
    Note

    2x clips

    

17. Install outboard side shield on LH front seat
    Note

    5x clips, Apply light pressure to the rear of the exterior trim to seat it fully on the seat frame and align with the contour of the seat back

    

    

    

18. Install outer cover clips to LH front seat
    Note

    2x clips, 1x Positioning clip, Need to install the upper Positioning clip first and then the lower clips, Ensure the trim and the switch are not damaged during install

    

19. Install bolt securing outboard side shield assembly to LH front seat assembly
    Note

    1x bolt, 8mm, 5 Nm

    

20. Install seat belt retractor to LH front seat pretensioner
    Note

    Insert retractor into seat pretensioner, Make sure it locks into position with push-pull-push test

    

    

21. Raise LH rear window

    

22. Close LH rear door

    

23. Move LH front seat to original position
    Note

    Via UI > Seat Controls, Use steering wheel scroll wheel as needed

    

    

24. Raise LH front window

    

25. Close LH front door
