Remove
- Remove the mid aero shield panel. See Aero Shield - Middle (Remove and Replace).
- Release the clips (x6) that attach the diffuser to the LH and RH rear wheel liners.
- Use a small flat head screwdriver to open the fastener covers (x2).

Remove the bolts (x9) that attach the
rear fascia diffuser to the body.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- 4 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
rear fascia diffuser to the rear fascia.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Release the tabs (x9) that attach the rear fascia diffuser to the rear fascia, and then remove the diffuser from the vehicle.
Install
- Install the tabs (x9) that attach the rear fascia diffuser to the rear fascia.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the
rear fascia diffuser to the rear fascia.3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Apply a thin bead of Loctite 222 to the threads of the bolts that attach the rear fascia diffuser to the vehicle.

Install the bolts (x9) that attach the
rear fascia diffuser to the body.5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- 4 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Close the fastener covers (x2).
- Install the clips (x6) that attach the diffuser to the LH and RH rear wheel liners.
- Install the mid aero shield panel. See Aero Shield - Middle (Remove and Replace).
