Pencil Brace - Wiper Bracket - LH (Remove and Replace)

  • 2025-11-04: Updated the torque of the NVH brace bolts (x2) from 18.8 Nm to 27 Nm.

Remove

  1. Remove the cowl screen. See Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the bolts (x2) that attaches the LH wiper bracket pencil brace to the body, and then remove the brace from the vehicle.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 13 mm deep socket

Install

  1. Hand-tighten the bolts (x2) that attaches the LH wiper bracket pencil brace to the body, and then torque them.
    27 Nm (19.9 lbs-ft)
