 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the trunk tub. See Trunk Tub (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the bottom foam pad from the lower trunk.
  3. Remove and discard the rear center bolt from the lower trunk assembly.

    • 10 mm socket
  4. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the lower trunk assembly to the vehicle, and then remove the lower trunk assembly from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the bolts (x4) that attach the lower trunk assembly to the vehicle.
    24 Nm (17.7 lbs-ft)

  2. Install a new rear center bolt to the lower trunk assembly.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  3. Install the bottom foam pad to the lower trunk.
