Lower Trunk (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the trunk sill trim. See Trunk Sill Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the LH and RH load floor brackets. See Bracket - Load Floor - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove trunk tub. See Trunk Tub (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove bottom foam pad from lower trunk.
  5. Remove rear center bolt from lower trunk assembly.

  6. Remove lower trunk assembly from vehicle.

Install

  1. Install lower trunk assembly onto vehicle.
    24 Nm (17.7 lbs-ft)

  2. Install rear center bolt onto lower trunk assembly.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  3. Install bottom foam pad to lower trunk.
  4. Install trunk tub. See Trunk Tub (Remove and Replace).

  6. Install the trunk sill trim. See Trunk Sill Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
