HVAC BLOWER MOTOR, CW (Remove and Replace)

Install

  1. Install the HVAC blower motor. See HVAC BLOWER MOTOR, CW (Remove and Install).
  2. Place the vehicle in Service Mode by using the touchscreen. See Service Mode.
  3. Locally connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  4. In Toolbox 3.0, click the Actions tab, type "Actuator" into the search field, click TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_X_HVAC-CASE-ACTUATORSvia Toolbox: (link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  5. On the touchscreen, tap the Service Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap Thermal > Actions > Test HVAC Performance + Blower Identification > Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  6. Tap Thermal > Sensors and Valves > Run Heat Pump Commissioning > Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  7. Tap Chassis > Calibrate Steering Column > Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  8. Disconnect the laptop.
  9. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  10. Move the LH front seat to original position.
  11. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
