Door Window Switch - Driver (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH front door trim. See Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the NVH pad from the door trim. See Door - Noise Vibration Harness Pad - Front LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH front bolt cover from the door trim. See Bolt Cover - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Release the LH front window switch harness from the harness clips (x3) and release the connector from the tabs (x4), and move the harness and the connector to one side.
  5. Remove LH front driver window switch.

    Note
    Pull up on the manual release handle for easy access to the special tool. Push up on the special tool to release the 4 tabs, and use your thumb to push down on the switch to release from the left front door panel.

Install

  1. Install LH front window switch.

    Note
    Secure LH front window switch to door panel.
  2. Install the LH front window switch harness to the harness clips (x3) and install the connector to the tabs (x4).

    Note
    Make sure the wiring harness passes through the door trim.
  3. Install the LH front bolt cover to the door trim. See Bolt Cover - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the NVH pad from the door trim. See Door - Noise Vibration Harness Pad - Front LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the LH front door trim. See Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
