EPB Harness - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Remove

  1. Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  2. Partially release the clips that attach the LH rear wheel liner to body, and then move the wheel liner aside.
    Note
    Be careful not to damage the wheel liner.
  3. Disconnect the LH rear EPB caliper connector.
  4. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH rear EPB harness bracket to the LH rear caliper.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 4 in extension
    • 10 mm socket
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  5. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH rear EPB harness to the LH rear brake hose bracket.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  6. Release the clips (x2) that attach the LH rear EPB harness to body.
  7. Disconnect the LH rear EPB harness connector and remove the harness.

Install

  1. Connect the LH rear EPB harness connector.
  2. Install the clips (x2) that attach the LH rear EPB harness to body.
  3. Align the locating tab to the brake hose bracket, and then install the bolt that attaches the LH rear EPB harness to the LH rear brake hose bracket.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  4. Install the bolt that attaches the LH rear EPB harness bracket to the LH rear caliper.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 4 in extension
    • 10 mm socket
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  5. Connect the LH rear EPB caliper connector.
  6. Re-install the clips that attach the LH rear wheel liner to body.
  7. Install the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
