Remove
- Remove the rear fascia assembly. See GUID-FF55B6F8-E257-4E77-B06D-3511D38E1426.html.

Disconnect the trailer hitch
controller connectors (x2).
NotePull the yellow tabs first.

Remove the nut that attaches the trailer hitch controller to the hitch
assembly.
NotePay attention to the locating pin.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Align the locating pin with the slot on the hitch assembly, and then install the nut
that attaches the trailer hitch controller to the hitch assembly.6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Connect the trailer hitch controller connectors (x2).
- Reinstall the vehicle firmware. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen.
- Install the rear fascia assembly. See GUID-FF55B6F8-E257-4E77-B06D-3511D38E1426.html.
