Panel - Seat Back - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH rear door and lower the LH rear window.
  2. Move the LH 2nd row seat forward.
    Note
    Adjust the seat back if needed.
  3. Release the clips (x18) that attach the LH 2nd row seat seat back panel to the seat assembly, and then remove the seat back panel from the seat assembly.
    Note
    Use a plastic trim tool to release the lower clips (x2) first, and then work around to release the remaining clips.
    Note
    When removing the upper clips, partially open the shell and then use a pry tool to release the upper clips from the inside.
    Note
    Check and replace any damaged clips.

Install

  1. Install the clips (x18) that attach the LH 2nd row seat seat back panel to the seat assembly.
    Note
    Make sure that all the clips are fully engaged.
    Note
    Check and replace any damaged clips.
  2. Move the LH 2nd row seat back to its original position.
  3. Raise the LH rear window and close the LH rear door.
