ECU - Charge Port (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Disconnect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  2. Remove the LH rucket bracket. See RUCKET BRACKET - LEFT HAND (Remove and Replace).
  3. Partially release the clips and location pins that attach the LH trunk side trim to the body, and disconnect the electrical connector to gain access to the charge port ECU.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (x3) from the charge port ECU.
  5. Remove the bolt that attaches the charge port ECU to the vehicle.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  6. Slide the charge port ECU to the right, and then remove the charge port ECU from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the charge port ECU by sliding it into the slots (x2) of the vehicle body.
  2. Install the bolt that attaches the charge port ECU to the vehicle.
    9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)

  3. Connect the electrical connectors (x3) to the charge port ECU.
  4. Connect the electrical connector, and then install the clips and location pins that attach the LH trunk side trim to the body.
  5. Install the LH rucket bracket. See RUCKET BRACKET - LEFT HAND (Remove and Replace).
  6. Connect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
