Torque Specifications

  • SKT, 3/8" DR, HEX BIT, T50 TORX
 Replace The bolt comes with the buckle assembly.

Remove

  1. Open the LH doors and lower the LH windows.
  2. Move the LH 1st row seat and LH 2nd row seat forward.

    Note
    Adjust the seat back if necessary to prevent contact with the headliner and other parts.
  3. Adjust the LH 2nd row seat armrest to its highest position.
  4. Release all clips (x21) that attach the inboard side shield to the LH 2nd row seat by loosening the front and rear outer clips at the backrest first, then gently pulling the assembly outward to remove.

    Note
    Proceed carefully to avoid damage.
  5. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the LH 2nd row seat belt buckle to the seat cushion frame assembly.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • SKT, 3/8" DR, HEX BIT, T50 TORX
  6. Release the clip, then disconnect the LH 2nd row seat buckle connector.

Replace

  1. Install new bolt that attaches the LH 2nd row seat belt buckle to the seat cushion frame assembly.
    45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • SKT, 3/8" DR, HEX BIT, T50 TORX
  2. Secure the clip, then connect the LH 2nd row seat buckle connector.
  3. Secure the clips (x21) that attach the inboard side shield to the LH 2nd row seat.

    Note
    Make sure that all clips are fully seated on the LH 2nd row seat.
  4. Adjust the LH 2nd row seat armrest to its original position.
  5. Move the LH 2nd row seat and LH 1st row seat to their original positions.
  6. Raise the LH windows and close the LH doors.
