Pocket Bracket - LH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the trunk sill trim. See Trunk Sill Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the guide tabs (x2) and clips (x2) to remove the LH trunk bracket.
  3. Release the metal clip, then plastic trim tool to release the clips (x2) and remove the LH trunk pocket bracket.

    Use the thick portion of the part as pry point.

Install

  1. Place the LH trunk pocket bracket into position, use plastic trim tool to install the LH trunk pocket bracket, press down to secure the clips (x2), then secure the metal clip.

  2. Secure the guide tabs (x2) and clips (x2) to install the LH trunk bracket.

    Note

    • Confirm each installation with a push-pull test.

    • Do not adjust clip position after bracket removal, or it won't seat properly.

    • If clip position changed or push-pull test fails, remove clip from tab, seat it into bracket's doghouse, then reinstall.

  3. Install the trunk sill trim. See Trunk Sill Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
