Harness - Rear LH Door (Remove and Replace)

Correction code 1710030302 FRT 0.66 NOTE: Unless otherwise explicitly stated in the procedure, the correction code and its associated FRT reflect all of the work required to perform this procedure, including the linked procedures. Remove

  1. Remove the LH rear window closeout assembly. See Window Regulator Closeout - Rear Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
    Note
    It is not necessary to remove the pressure sensor, window motor and the window regulator module from the LH rear window closeout assembly.
  2. Disconnect the LH rear door handle connector.
  3. Disconnect the LH rear door latch connector.
  4. Release the clips (x7) that attach the LH rear door harness to the LH rear door.
  5. Use a plastic trim tool to slightly release the rubber grommet, and then disconnect the LH rear door harness connector.
  6. Pull the rubber grommet through the opening hole, and then remove the LH rear door harness from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the rubber grommet to the LH rear door.
    Note
    Make sure the rubber grommet are properly seated.
  2. Connect the LH rear door harness connector and then install the rubber grommet.
    Note
    Verify that the seal is fully seated around the white clip prior to installation.

    Make sure the rubber grommet are properly seated.
  3. Install the clips (x7) that attach the LH rear door harness to the LH rear door.
  4. Connect the LH rear door latch connector.
  5. Connect the LH rear door handle connector.
  6. Install the LH rear window closeout assembly. See Window Regulator Closeout - Rear Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
