Remove

  1. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the LH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (5-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the front trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Front (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the trunk sill trim. See Trunk Sill Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the LH load floor bracket. See Bracket - Load Floor - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the LH trunk pocket bracket. See Pocket Bracket - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the LH trunk side trim. See Trunk Side Trim LH - Rear Under Body (Remove and Replace).
  8. Release the clips that attach the primary door seal upper C-pillar trim, and then set the trim aside.

    Note
    Guide the front upper corner groove out of the headliner.
  9. Release the clips (x7) that attach the upper C-pillar trim.
  10. Release the chargeport manual release cable from the trim, then allow the trim to rest on the trunk floor.
  11. Disconnect the 2nd seat dump switch.
  12. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the 2nd row LH lower seat belt anchor to the body.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 13 mm socket
  13. Feed the seat belt through the LH upper C-pillar trim, and then remove the trim.

Install

  1. Feed the seat belt through the LH upper C-pillar trim assembly.
  2. Install a new bolt that attaches the 2nd row LH lower seat belt anchor to the body.
    35 Nm (25.8 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 13 mm socket
  3. Connect the 2nd seat dump switch.
  4. Install the manual release cable into the trim.
  5. Install the clips (x7) that attach the upper C-pillar trim.

    Note
    Guide the front upper corner groove under the headliner, and then insert the guide tab to headliner behind quarter glass. Ensure the trunk seal is seated on the edge of the trim.
  6. Install the clips that attach the primary door seal upper C-pillar trim.
  7. Install the LH trunk side trim. See Trunk Side Trim LH - Rear Under Body (Remove and Replace).
  8. Install the LH trunk pocket bracket. See Pocket Bracket - LH (Remove and Replace).
  9. Install the LH load floor bracket. See Bracket - Load Floor - LH (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install the trunk sill trim. See Trunk Sill Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
  11. Install the front trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Front (Remove and Replace).
  12. Return the LH rear passenger seat back to its original position.
  13. Seat the LH rear door seal back into position.

    Note
    Seat the pillar and sill trim tabs underneath the seal.
  14. Install the LH lower C- pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (5-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  15. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  16. Move the front seats to their original positions.
  17. Close all the doors and fully raise all the windows.
