INSULATOR - LOWER - FASTCHARGE (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the DC link positive busbar from the fastcharge contactor. See BUSBAR - FAST CHARGE CONTACTOR TO DIRECT CURRENT BUSBAR - POSITIVE (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the lower fastcharge insulator to the fastcharge contactor, and then remove the insulator from the vehicle.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Insulated Ratchet/torque wrench
    • External Torx E8

Install

  1. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the lower fastcharge insulator to the fastcharge contactor.
    5.5 Nm (4.1 lbs-ft)

    Align the guide pins. Mark the bolts after torque.

  2. Install the DC link positive busbar to the fastcharge contactor. See BUSBAR - FAST CHARGE CONTACTOR TO DIRECT CURRENT BUSBAR - POSITIVE (Remove and Replace).
