2nd Row Seat Assemblies -2nd Row Seatback - Right Hand - Pur Black (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the 2nd row RH seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - RH (5-Seat) (Remove and Install).
  2. With assistance, position the 2nd row RH seat assembly onto a padded surface.

    Note
    Stabilize the assembly as needed.
  3. Remove the 2nd row RH seat headrest. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the 2nd row RH seat outboard and inboard headrest guide locks. See Guide Lock - Headrest - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the clips (x3) that attach the 2nd row RH seatback substrate to the frame.
  6. Disconnect the 2nd row RH seat backrest adjustment motor connector.
  7. Release the 2nd row RH seat backrest adjustment motor harness from the substrate.
  8. Release the 2nd row RH seat position sensor connector clip.
  9. Disconnect the 2nd row RH seat position sensor connector.
  10. Release hooks (x3) and a tab to remove the 2nd row RH seat substrate from the frame.

    Note
    Push the tab forward, and then lift up and unhook the substrate from the seat frame.
  11. Release the 2nd row RH seatback harness from the shell, disconnect the connector, and then pull the seatback assembly away from the rail.

Install

  1. Connect the 2nd row RH seatback harness connector, secure the harness to the shell, and insert the assembly into the rail.
  2. Secure hooks (x3) and a tab to install the 2nd row RH seat substrate to the frame.
  3. Connect the 2nd row RH seat position sensor connector.
  4. Install the 2nd row RH seat position sensor connector clip.
  5. Install the 2nd row RH seat backrest adjustment motor harness to the substrate.
  6. Connect the 2nd row RH seat backrest adjustment motor connector.
  7. Install the clips (x3) that attach the 2nd row RH seatback substrate to the frame.
  8. Install the 2nd row RH seat outboard and inboard headrest guide locks. See Guide Lock - Headrest - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace).
  9. Install the 2nd row RH seat headrest. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install the 2nd row RH seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - RH (5-Seat) (Remove and Install).
