Actuator - Floor Latch - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the 2nd row RH seat. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the 2nd row RH seat toe kick cover. See Cover - Toe Kick - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the 2nd row RH seat side shield. See Outer Sideshield - Outboard - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the RH 2nd row inboard outer B cover. See B-Cover - Outer - Inboard - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Fold the 2nd row RH seat into up position.
  6. Remove the RH 2nd row inboard inner B cover. See B-Cover - Inner - Inboard - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  7. Disconnect the 2nd row RH seat heater connector.
  8. Slide up to release the 2nd row RH seat heater harness.
  9. Disconnect the 2nd row RH seat RH floor latch connector.
  10. Disconnect the 2nd row RH seat LH floor latch connector.
  11. Disconnect the 2nd row RH seatbelt buckle connector.
  12. Disconnect the 2nd row RH seat track position sensor connector.
  13. Disconnect the seat heating connector.
  14. Release the clips (x2) that attach the RH seat cushion harness to the podium.
  15. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the RH seat cushion pan to the seat frame.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  16. Remove the clip that attaches the RH seat cushion pan to the seat frame.
  17. Remove the bolts (x2) that secure the floor latch actuator, and disconnect the connector.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm deep socket
  18. Slightly lift the 2nd row RH seat cushion pan upward.

    Note
    Do not fully remove the cushion pan at this time.
  19. Remove the zip tie and the secure clips (x2).
  20. Release the 2nd row RH seat floor latch actuator cable from the RH floor latch.
  21. Release the 2nd row RH seat floor latch actuator cable from the LH floor latch.

Install

  1. Install the 2nd row RH seat floor latch actuator cable to the LH floor latch.
  2. Install the 2nd row RH seat floor latch actuator cable to the RH floor latch.
  3. Install the secure clips (x2) and the zip tie.
  4. Fully seat the 2nd row RH seat cushion assembly to the seat frame.

    Note
    Push downwards to fully seat the cushion pan to the seat frame. Be cautious to not pinch the actuator cables or the cushion harness.
  5. Connector the floor latch actuator connector, and then install the bolts (x2) that secure the floor latch actuator.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)

    • 8 mm deep socket
  6. Install the 2nd row RH seat occupancy sensor harness into the cushion pan.
  7. Connect the 2nd row RH seat occupancy sensor connector.
  8. Install the clip that attaches the 2nd row RH seat cushion pan to the seat frame.
  9. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the 2nd row RH seat cushion pan to the seat frame.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm deep socket
  10. Secure the 2nd row RH seat heater harness.
  11. Connect the 2nd row RH seat heater connector.
  12. Connect the 2nd row RH seat RH floor latch connector.
  13. Connect the 2nd row RH seat LH floor latch connector.
  14. Connect the 2nd row RH seatbelt buckle connector.
  15. Connect the 2nd row RH seat track position sensor connector.
  16. Connect the seat heating connector.
  17. Install the RH 2nd row inboard inner B cover. See B-Cover - Inner - Inboard - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  18. Install the RH 2nd row inboard outer B cover. See B-Cover - Outer - Inboard - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  19. Install the 2nd row RH seat side shield. See Outer Sideshield - Outboard - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  20. Install the 2nd row RH seat toe kick cover. See Cover - Toe Kick - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  21. Install the 2nd row RH seat. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  22. Place the vehicle in Service Mode by using the touchscreen. See Service Mode.
  23. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  24. Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes): PROC_VCLEFT_X_2R-SEAT-RECLINE-CALIBRATIONvia Service Mode:Low Voltage ➜ Second Row Seats ➜ Calibratevia Toolbox:(link)
  25. Exit Service Mode or disconnect the laptop if applicable (see 0005 - Service Modes).
