Remove

Remove the center console from the
vehicle. See Center Console (Model Y L) (Remove and Install).

Replace
- Install the center console into the vehicle. See Center Console (Model Y L) (Remove and Install).
- Locally connect a laptop with Toolbox to the vehicle. See Toolbox (Connect and Disconnect).
- Reinstall the vehicle software. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen.
- In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, type "hvac actuator" into the search field, click TEST-SELF_VCUSB_X_HVAC-ACTUATORvia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect the laptop and exit Service Mode Plus. See Service Mode Plus.
