Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the HEPA filter assembly to the vehicle, and then
remove the assembly from the vehicle.
NotePivot the rear edge of the assembly upward to clear the brake reservoir, and then lift the assembly upward to clear the underhood storage unit.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 4 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Ratchet/torque wrench

To position the HEPA filter assembly for installation, place the forward edge of the
filter assembly under the underhood storage unit, and then carefully move the rear edge
of the filter assembly past the brake fluid reservoir. Gently press on RH side of filter
to seat the seal onto the duct.
NoteMake sure that the washer hose is not pinched between the HEPA filter assembly and the body.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the
HEPA filter assembly to the vehicle.
10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 4 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).

Reset the HEPA filter maintenance
record: on the touchscreen, touch in the "Maintenance Details" screen, and then touch Confirm.
- Raise the LH front window and close the door.
