Remove
- Remove the RH trunk side trim. See Trunk Side Trim - LH (Model Y L) (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the audio amplifier. See Amplifier - Audio - External (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the subwoofer connector.

Remove and discard the nut that attaches the subwoofer to the body.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
subwoofer to the body, and then release the locator pin and remove the subwoofer from
the vehicle.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
Install

Align the locator pin, and then install a new nut that attaches the subwoofer to the
body.
