Remove
- Remove the HVAC intake actuator. See HVAC - Actuator 120 Degree (Remove and Install).
Install

Install the HVAC intake actuator. See HVAC - Actuator 120 Degree (Remove and Install).
NoteBack to current procedure after connecting the LV battery power to perform the routines.
- Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
- On the touchscreen, tap the Service Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap , and allow the routine to complete.
- Locally connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox (Connect and Disconnect).
- In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, type "Actuator" into the search field, click TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_X_HVAC-CASE-ACTUATORSvia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect the laptop.
- Exit Service Mode Plus. See Service Mode Plus.
- Install air intake duct. See Duct - Air Intake (Remove and Replace).
- Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
- Install the HEPA filter assembly. See HEPA Filter Assembly (Remove and Replace).
- On the touchscreen, tap , and use the left scroll wheel to adjust the steering column back to original position.
- Move both front seats to original position.
- Raise all windows and close all doors.
