Note
This procedure requires the A/C Refrigerant (Recovery and Recharge) procedure to be performed. If not already automatically added to the Service Visit, add correction code 18200102 as a separate correction within the same activity to the Service Visit.

Install

  1. Install the HVAC intake actuator. See HVAC - Actuator 120 Degree (Remove and Install).

    Note
    Back to current procedure after connecting the LV battery power to perform the routines.
  2. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  3.   4. Locally connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox (Connect and Disconnect).
  5. In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, type "Actuator" into the search field, click TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_X_HVAC-CASE-ACTUATORSvia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  6. Disconnect the laptop.
  7. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  8. Install air intake duct. See Duct - Air Intake (Remove and Replace).
  9. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install the HEPA filter assembly. See HEPA Filter Assembly (Remove and Replace).
  11. On the touchscreen, tap Controls > Steering, and use the left scroll wheel to adjust the steering column back to original position.
  12. Move both front seats to original position.
  13. Raise all windows and close all doors.
