Remove
- Remove the rear trunk sill trim. See Trunk Sill Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
- Use masking tape to mark the location of the liftgate striker.

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
liftgate striker to the body, and then remove the striker from the vehicle.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T45 socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
Install
- Align the liftgate striker with the masking tape on the body, and then hand-tighten the bolts that attach the liftgate striker to the body.
- Close the liftgate and check gap/flush.
- Open the liftgate and adjust the striker position as necessary.
- Repeat step 2 and step 3 until alignment is satisfactory.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the liftgate striker to the body.
24 Nm (17.7 lbs-ft)TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T45 socket

- Remove the masking tape around the liftgate striker.
- Install the rear trunk sill trim. See .
