Remove

  1. Remove LH front cabin carpet. See Cabin Carpet - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove glove box assembly from IP carrier See Glove Box (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove RH front cabin carpet. See Cabin Carpet - Front - RH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  5. Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  6. Remove wiper module. See Wiper Module - LHD (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove air intake duct. See Duct - Air Intake (Remove and Replace).
  8. Disconnect harness connector for windshield heater from underhood area and release clip.
  9. Disconnect front main harness connectors on LH side of car computer.
  10. Release two harness clips from lower of car computer.
  11. Disconnect front main harness connectors on RH side of car computer.
  12. Remove bolt securing ground harness from RH A-pillar area.

    • 10 mm deep socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  13. Disconnect J1 power connector from VCright.
  14. Disconnect J6 frunk connector from VCright.
  15. Release connector clip from RH controller and disconnect connector.
  16. Disconnect 12V connector from vehicle.
  17. Release DCDC cable clips from RH harness bracket.
  18. Push RH side front harness through RH bulkhead.

    Ensure that the RH harness is drawn without resistance.
  19. Disconnect RH pedestrian protection actuator connector.

    Pull locking tab outward to release.
  20. Release RH pedestrian protection actuator connector secured onto body.
  21. Release front harness clips from RH cowl panel.
  22. Disconnect accelerator pedal connector.
  23. Release front harness clips around accelerator pedal area.
  24. Repeat step #TASK-REMOVE__GUID-66D58BAE-A0D3-4D59-AB75-43002ACE44D5to step #TASK-REMOVE__GUID-324204F7-2708-49C9-9BC9-B7B967AEBA3Cfor LH side.
  25. Release supermanifold harness from body.
  26. Disconnect supermanifold harness from front LV controller.
  27. Remove front LV controller shield from vehicle. See .
  28. Disconnect remaining connectors on front LV controller.
  29. Remove bolts securing harness guide from front LV controller.

  30. Release harness guide from front LV controller.

    Pivot harness guide slightly forward and up to remove temp set clip from front harness.
  31. Remove ground strap from front controller.

  32. Release 12V positive cable clip from front controller.
  33. Remove front controller upper ground strap from body.

  34. Remove positive jumper post cap.

  36. Disconnect brake fluid level sensor connector.
  37. Disconnect DPB assembly harness connector.
  38. Disconnect washer level sensor connector.
  39. Disconnect washer fluid pump connector.
  40. Remove harness from washer bottle.
  41. Remove steering gear harness clips from frunk support beam.
  42. Disconnect steering gear motor upper-half connectors.
  43. Disconnect steering gear motor lower-half connectors.

    Note
    Disengage red locking tab to backward, then pull backward again to removal.
  44. Move steering gear harness to side.
  45. Remove clip securing radiator inlet hose to harness bracket.
  46. Release inline bracket clips from LH front body.
  47. Release wiper hose from LH front harness bracket.
  48. Disconnect HVIL connector.
  49. Remove AC compressor ground strap.

  50. Disconnect HCU connector.

    Release red locking tab, Press black release tab and rotate lever upward to remove.
  51. Release HCU connector harness clip.
  52. Remove front harness ground terminals at RH front shock tower.

  53. Disconnect front harness ground terminals connector at RH front shock tower.
  54. Remove front harness ground terminals at LH front shock tower.

  55. Disconnect front harness ground terminals connector at LH front shock tower.
  56. Remove LH and RH front wheel liner. See Wheel Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  57. Release speaker super horn harness clip and disconnect connector.
  58. Disconnect RH FEM harness connector.
  59. Disconnect front fascia harness connector.

    Disengage red locking tab to backward, then press black tab.
  60. Release clips harness from RH headlamp.
  61. Disconnect RH front pedestrian pro pressure tube sensor.

    Do not push down on Red tab, pull red tab to disengage lock, and pull again to release connector.
  62. Release clip harness from RH crush can.
  63. Disconnect RH front wheel speed sensor connector.
  64. Release clip LH front wheel speed sensor harness from body.
  65. Disconnect FEM bracket RH crash accelerometer sensor connector.
  66. Disconnect RH headlamp connector.

    Note
    Pull tab to disengage lock mechanism, pull again to release connector, and do not press down on tab.
  67. Disconnect front lightbar assembly connector.
  68. Release clip harness from FEM.
  69. Release clip front harness from RH FEM bracket assembly.
  70. Remove harness from RH FEM bracket assembly.
  71. Disconnect front harness connectors from RH side repeater camera.
  72. Release front harness clip RH side repeater camera harness from body.
  73. Push RH side front harness through RH shock tower closeout panel.
  74. Disconnect cooling fan connector.
  75. Disconnect LH FEM harness connector.
  76. Disconnect LH front pedestrian pro pressure tube sensor.

    Note
    Do not push down on Red tab, pull red tab to disengage lock, and pull again to release connector.
  77. Release clip harness from LH crush can.
  78. Release clip harness from FEM.
  79. Release clip LH front wheel speed sensor harness from body.
  80. Disconnect LH Front wheel speed sensor connector.
  81. Disconnect FEM bracket LH crash accelerometer sensor connector.
  82. Disconnect LH headlamp connector.
  83. Release clip front harness from LH FEM bracket assembly.
  84. Remove harness from LH FEM bracket assembly.
  85. Disconnect front harness connectors from LH side repeater camera.
  86. Release front harness clip LH side repeater camera from body.
  87. Push LH side front harness through LH shock tower closeout panel.
  88. Release clips securing RH side of front end harness from body.
  89. Remove clips securing LH side of front end harness from body.
  90. Remove front harness from vehicle.

Install

  1. Position front harness onto vehicle for installation.
  2. Secure clips securing LH side of front end harness to body.
  3. Secure clips securing RH side of front end harness to body.
  4. Route LH side front harness through LH bulkhead.

    Make sure to install grommet in proper orientation.
  5. Route RH side front harness through RH bulkhead.

  6. Secure windshield heater harness clip to underhood area and connect connector.
  7. Route LH side front harness through LH shock tower closeout panel.
  8. Secure front harness clip LH side repeater camera harness to body.
  9. Connect front harness connectors to LH side repeater camera.
  10. Route front harness through LH FEM bracket assembly.
  11. Secure clip front harness to LH FEM bracket assembly.
  12. Connect FEM bracket LH crash accelerometer sensor connector.
  13. Secure clip front harness into LH crush can.
  14. Secure clip front harness to FEM.
  15. Connect LH headlamp connector.
  16. Connect LH front pedestrian pro pressure tube sensor.
  17. Secure clips LH front wheel speed sensor harness to body.
  18. Connect LH Front wheel speed sensor connector.
  19. Connect LH FEM harness connector.
  20. Connector coolin fan connector.
  21. Route RH side front harness through RH shock tower closeout panel.
  22. Secure front harness clip RH side repeater camera to body.
  23. Connect front harness connectors to LH side repeater camera.
  24. Route front harness through RH FEM bracket assembly.
  25. Secure clip front harness to RH FEM bracket assembly.
  26. Connect RH headlamp connector.
  27. Connect FEM bracket RH crash accelerometer sensor connector.
  28. Secure clip harness to FEM.
  29. Connect front lightbar assembly connector.
  30. Secure clip front harness into RH crush can.
  31. Connect RH front pedestrian pro pressure tube sensor.
  32. Secure clips RH front wheel speed sensor harness to body.
  33. Connect RH Front wheel speed sensor connector.
  34. Secure clips harness to RH headlamp.
  35. Connect front fascia harness connectors.
  36. Connect RH FEM harness connector.
  37. Install speaker super horn harness clip and connect connector.
  38. Secure inline bracket clips to LH front body.
  39. Secure wiper hose to LH front harness bracket.
  40. Install clip securing radiator inlet hose to harness bracket.
  41. Install steering gear harness.
  42. Install steering gear harness clips to frunk support beam.
  43. Connect steering gear motor lower-half connectors.
  44. Connect steering gear motor upper-half connectors.
  45. Connect front harness ground terminals connector at LH front shock tower.
  46. Install front harness ground terminals at LH front shock tower.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  51. Connect HCU connector.
  52. Secure HCU harness clip to HCU bracket.
  53. Connect washer fluid pump connector.
  54. Install harness to washer bottle.
  55. Connect washer level sensor connector.
  56. Connect brake fluid level sensor connector.
  57. Connect DPB assembly harness connector.
  58. Install harness guide to front LV controller.
  59. Install bolts securing harness guide to front LV controller.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

  69. Secure LH pedestrian protection actuator connector onto body.
  70. Connect LH pedestrian protection actuator connector.
  71. Secure RH pedestrian protection actuator connector onto body.
  72. Connect RH pedestrian protection actuator connector.
  73. Install wiper module. See Wiper Module - LHD (Remove and Replace).
  74. Install air intake duct. See Duct - Air Intake (Remove and Replace).
  75. Install LH and RH front wheel liner. See Wheel Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  76. Connect J6 frunk connector to VCleft.
  77. Connect J1 power connector to VCleft.
  78. Secure harness clips to left body controller.
  79. Connect front harness white connector X909 to LH body harness.
  80. Install bolt securing ground harness LH A-pillar area.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  81. Secure front harness clips to LH cowl panel.
  82. Secure front harness clips around accelerator pedal area.
  83. Connect accelerator pedal connector.
  84. Push in front harness from left to right.
  85. Secure front harness clips to RH cowl panel.
  86. Connect J6 frunk connector to VCright.
  87. Connect J1 power connector to VCright.
  88. Install bolt securing ground harness to RH A-pillar area.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  89. Secure DCDC cable clips to RH harness bracket.
  90. Connect 12V connector to vehicle.
  91. Secure connector clip to RH controller and connect connector.
  92. Connect three harness connectors on RH of car computer.
  93. Secure two harness clips to lower of car computer.
  94. Connect three harness connectors on LH of car computer.
  95. Install glove box assembly to IP carrier See Glove Box (Remove and Replace).
  96. Connect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  97. Install LH front cabin carpet. See Cabin Carpet - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  98. Install RH front cabin carpet. See Cabin Carpet - Front - RH (Remove and Replace).
  99. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
