Audio Amplifier (Remove and Install)

Torque Specifications

Remove

  1. Open all doors and lower all windows.
  2. Remove the RH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (5-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Open the liftgate.
  4. Fold the 2nd row 40 seatback down via seat switch or manual tether.
    Note
    Protect the seat back upholstery if necessary.
  5. Disconnect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  6. Remove the RH trunk pocket bracket. See Pocket Bracket - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the RH trunk side trim. See Trunk Side Trim LH - Rear Under Body (Remove and Replace).
  8. Disconnect the connectors (x3) from the RH rear audio amplifier.
  9. Remove the bolt that attaches the audio amplifier to the body, and then remove the audio amplifier from the vehicle.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
