Rear Track Cover - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Remove

  1. Open the LH doors, then lower the LH windows.
  2. Move both the LH 1st row seat and the LH 2nd row seat backward.
    Note
    Adjust the seat back if necessary to prevent contact with the headliner and other parts.
  3. Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that attach the front of the LH 2nd row seat to the body.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx Plus T45 socket
  4. Move the LH 2nd row seat forward.
    Note
    Adjust the seat back if necessary to prevent contact with the headliner.
  5. Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that attach the rear of the LH 2nd row seat to the body.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx Plus T45 socket
  6. Lift the seat upward, then remove the rear track covers from the LH 2nd row seat assembly by lifting the clips (x2) on both sides and disengaging them in the direction of the arrow.

Install

  1. Lift the seat upward, then install the rear track covers to the LH 2nd row seat assembly by securing the clips (x2) on both sides, ensuring the clips are properly engaged in place.
  2. Install new bolts (x2) that attach the rear of the LH 2nd row seat to the body.
    33.5 Nm (24.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx Plus T45 socket
  3. Move the LH 2nd row seat backward.
    Note
    Adjust the seat back if necessary to prevent contact with the headliner.
  4. Install new bolts (x2) that attach the front of the LH 2nd row seat to the body.
    33.5 Nm (24.7 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx Plus T45 socket
  5. Move both the LH 2nd row seat and the LH 1st row seat to their original positions.
  6. Raise the LH windows, and close the LH doors.
