Remove
- Remove the LH B-pillar lower trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).

Release the clip that attaches the LH
B-pillar lower air duct to the body.

Release the clips (x5) that attach the
LH B-pillar upper trim assembly to the vehicle, and then move the trim aside.
NotePull the bottom of the upper B-pillar inwards, and then pull the top to release the remaining clips.

Push to open the LH rear coat hook.

Release the tab to open the LH rear coat hook bolt cover.
-
Remove the bolt that attaches the LH rear coat hook to the headliner.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket

Release the tab to partially release the headliner from the body, and then remove the
bolt that attaches the headliner to the body.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket

Carefully insert an inflatable airbag between the headliner and the body, and inflate
the airbag.
CAUTIONTake care not to damage the headliner.NoteThis is to gain access to the airbag ramp.

Disconnect the LH middle headliner audio speaker connector.

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
LH middle headliner audio speaker to the headliner, and then release the datums (x2) to
remove the speaker from the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T10 bit
- Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
Install

Align the datums (x2) to install the speaker to the vehicle, and then install the
bolts (x2) that attach the LH middle headliner audio speaker to the headliner.
0.65 Nm (6 lbs-in)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T10 bit
- Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm

Connect the LH middle headliner audio speaker connector.
- Deflate the inflatable airbag, and then remove it from the vehicle.

Install the bolt that attaches the headliner to the body, and then install the tab
that attaches the headliner to the body.
2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T30 socket

Install the bolt that attaches the LH rear coat hook to the headliner.
2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T25 socket

Engage the tab to close the LH rear coat hook bolt cover.

Push to close the LH rear coat hook.
-
Align location pins (x2) to the slots
on the body, and then secure the clips (x5) that attach the LH upper B-pillar trim
assembly to the vehicle.
NoteMake sure that the air vent is properly installed.

Install the clip that attaches the LH
B-pillar lower air duct to the body.
