Remove
- Open the LH rear door and lower the LH rear window.

Move the LH 2nd row seat
forward.
NoteAdjust the seat back if needed.
- Open the liftgate.

Fold the 3rd row seatback down.
NoteProtect the seat back upholstery from any potential scratch or damage.
- Remove the rear headliner. See Rear Headliner (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).

Partially release the clips (x2) and location pin that attach the rear center area of
the headliner to the body.

Insert an inflatable airbag to support the LH rear section of the headliner for
enough space to access the fasteners, and inflate the airbag..
NoteTake care not to damage the headliner.

Disconnect the LH rear headliner audio
speaker connector.

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
LH rear headliner audio speaker to the headliner, and then release the datums (x2) to
remove the speaker from the vehicle.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T10 bit
- Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
Replace

Align the datums (x2) to install the
speaker to the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH rear
headliner audio speaker to the headliner.
0.65 Nm (6 lbs-in)TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T10 bit
- Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm

Connect the LH rear headliner audio
speaker connector.
- Deflate the inflatable airbag, and then remove it from the vehicle.

Partially secure the clips (x2) and location pin that attach the rear center area of
the headliner to the body.
- Install the rear headliner. See Rear Headliner (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
- Move the 3rd row seatback back to its original position.

Partially install the seal at the rear center of the headliner.
- Close the liftgate.
- Move the LH 2nd row seat back to its original position.
- Raise the LH rear window and close the LH rear door.
