With assistance, release the tabs and
remove the instrument panel upper carrier assembly from the vehicle. See Assembly - Instrument Panel - Upper (Remove and Replace).
NoteDo not separate the components from the upper carrier assembly. Just remove the assembly from the vehicle.

Remove the screws (x2) that attach the
LH defrost duct to the instrument panel upper assembly, and then remove the duct from
the assembly.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit
- Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm

Install the screws (x2) that attach
the LH defrost duct to the instrument panel upper assembly.

Install the instrument panel upper
carrier to the vehicle. See Assembly - Instrument Panel - Upper (Remove and Replace).
