Remove
-
Open LH rear door
-
Lower LH rear window
-
Remove LH rear body primary seal
NoteStart near the lower left corner of quarter glass, pull out primary seal by work your way to fully release from vehicle
-
Open liftgate
-
Fold 2nd row 60 seatback down
NoteVia seat switch or manual tether, Protect seat back upholstery if necessary
-
Partially remove LH trunk side
trim
Note9x clips, Release only upper section of trim, Use caution to avoid straining 12v socket harness at rear of trim, All clips and datums shown in image for clarity

Remove LH upper C-pillar trim
Note7x clips, 5x datums, 2x tabs, 1x release cable, Release chargeport manual release cable from trim, Allow trim to rest on trunk floor

Break datums on LH rear quarter
glass
Note3x datums
-
Remove LH rear quarter glass
seal
Note1x clip
-
Clean exterior around area of LH rear
quarter glass
NoteAllow to dry for at least 1 minute
-
Apply tape around LH rear quarter
glass area to protect body and paint
-
Cut length of square wire to use with
T-handles
NoteMake sure there's adequate wire
-
Insert square wire into
T-handles
Note2x t-handles, Insert wire through center pin then bend tip of wire to secure in center pin hole

Wrap square wire around rear edge of
LH rear quarter glass between body and seal
NoteUse trim tool to help guide wire between bright molding and quarter glass
-
Cut LH rear quarter glass from body
and remove
NoteUse sawing motion to cut through urethane, please assist if need
-
Clean remaining urethane from
body
NoteEnsure remaining glass adhesive is 1mm or less in thickness

Wipe urethane path on LH rear quarter
glass surface with IPA
NoteAllow time to dry

Remove masking tape from rear quarter
glass area
-
Wipe urethane path with IPA wipes on
body
NoteAllow IPA to dry for at least 1 minute

Close LH rear door
Install
-
Apply primer to urethane path on LH
rear quarter glass
NoteAllow primer to dry for at least 1 minute
-
Apply primer to urethane path and any
areas where the paint was damaged during removal of quarter glass
NoteAllow primer to dry for at least 1 minute
-
Prepare caulking gun and
urethane
NoteOpening must be 8mm wide and 13mm tall
-
Apply urethane to LH rear quarter
glass following primer path
NoteVerify urethane beads are married to avoid NVH issues
-
Install LH rear quarter glass to
body
Note1x clip, Slide bright molding clip into upper bright trim, Verify datums are aligned to body holes then install LH rear quarter glass to body, Verify datums and seal clip are fully seated, Apply presure to LH rear quarter glass

Apply tape to secure LH rear quarter
glass to vehicle while drying

Install LH upper C-pillar trim
Note7x clips, 5x datums, 2x tabs, 1x release cable, Secure chargeport manual release cable to trim, Feed seat belt through the trim if removed, Seat trunk seal to edge of trim

Secure LH trunk side trim
Note9x clips, Secure upper section of trim, Ensure trim is fully seated, All clips and datums shown in image for clarity

Return 2nd row 60 seatback to vertical
position
NoteVia seat switch or manual tether, Remove seatback protection if necessary

Close liftgate
-
Install LH rear body primary
seal
NotePlace seam on primary seal is even with B-Pillar top end, and start here follow clockwise to install primary seal to vehicle, Apply pressure to fully seat, Verify seal is seated properly on all trim panels and headliner

Raise LH rear window
