Remove
- Remove the 2nd row center back panel. See Backpanel - Center - 2nd Row (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install).

Partially remove the 2nd row armrest trim.
NoteRotate the armrest frame away from the trim.

Remove the 2nd row center armrest release strap.
NotePull the strap out of the closeout opening.
Install

Install the 2nd row center armrest release strap.
NoteFeed the strap through the closeout opening.

Secure the 2nd row armrest trim.
NoteRotate the trim upwards to engage the hooks. Secure the clips then rotate the frame down.
