1. Open all four doors

   

2. Lower all four windows

   

3. Partially remove LH front primary door seal from body

   

   

4. Remove LH IP end cap
   Note

   5x clips, 2x guide tabs

   

   

5. Remove LH lower A pillar trim from body
   Note

   7x clips,4x guide tabs, 1x push clip, Pull rear of lower A-pillar upward to release clip then pull rearward to release front tabs from carpet

   

   

   

6. Move LH front seat backward
   Note

   Via UI > Seat Controls, Use steering wheel scroll wheel as needed

   

   

7. Remove LH front seat front bolts
   Note

   2x patch bolts, TP45, 33.5 Nm, Discard patch bolts after removal

   

8. Release seat belt retractor from LH front seat pretensioner
   Note

   Insert seat belt release tool in bottom of retractor to release

   

   

9. Move LH front seat forward
   Note

   Via UI > Seat Controls, Use steering wheel scroll wheel as needed

   

   

10. Remove LH front seat rear bolts
    Note

    2x patch bolts, TP45, 33.5 Nm, Discard patch bolts after removal

    

11. Adjust position of LH front seat for easy removal
    Note

    Move seat to middle of track at most upright position with seat fully up off floor

    

12. Open hood

    

    

13. Power off vehicle from center display
    Note

    Via Controls > Safety > Power Off, Select Power Off button at warning dialogue box

    

    

14. Remove HEPA filter or big basin
    Note

    Vehicle configuration may vary, W/ HEPA: 2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Pivot rear edge up past brake reservoir then lift up to clear frunk assembly, W/O HEPA: 2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, 14x clips, Fold rear lip of base frunk forward to access forward cowl clips, Lift cowl clips to release basin bracket

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

15. Disconnect LV battery and first responder loop
    Note

    2x connectors, Release green locking tab, Press black tab then pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL, Allow 2 minutes for all electrical circuits to fully discharge

    

    

    

    

    

16. Disconnect LH front seat harness connector from LH controller
    Note

    1x connector, Release locking tab

    

    

17. Release LH front seat harness from sill trim clips
    Note

    4x clips

    

    

18. Pull LH front seat harness from under LH front cabin carpet

    

19. Remove LH front seat from vehicle
    Note

    Recommend assistance, With assistant supporting seat back from 2nd row seat, Remove seat from front LH door opening, Caution not to damage any trim, Protect the seat upholstery when the seat is outside of the vehicle

    

    

    

20. Remove 2nd row seat cushion
    Note

    1x connector, Lift front edge of seat cushion upward to release foam from frame, Adjust the backrest to the appropriate position as needed

    

    

    

21. Partially release LH rear primary door seal from body

    

    

22. Remove LH lower C pillar trim
    Note

    7x clips, 2x guide tabs, Pull the trim upward to release all clips

    

    

    

23. Remove LH lower B pillar trim
    Note

    2x tabs, 1x locator tab, 9x clips, 1x push clip, Release both top side tabs, first pull upper half trim toward inside of the car, and then pull lower half trim outward to release all clips

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

24. Remove clips securing cabin carpet to seat riser
    Note

    4x clips

    

25. Fold LH front cabin carpet over
    Note

    Lift up rear edge of carpet near outboard seat riser

    

    

26. Remove LH front outboard seat riser fastener
    Note

    1x patch bolt, 11mm, 33.5 Nm, Discard after removal

    

27. Fold LH rear main cabin carpet over
    Note

    Fold the front edge of the LH rear cabin carpet near the outboard seat riser

    

    

    

28. Remove LH rear outboard seat riser fastener
    Note

    1x patch bolt, 11mm, 33.5 Nm, Discard after removal

    

29. Remove LH outboard seat riser
    Note

    2x locating tab

    

    

30. Install LH outboard seat riser
    Note

    2x locating tab

    

    

    

    

31. Install LH rear outboard seat riser fastener
    Note

    1x patch bolt, 11mm, 33.5 Nm, Install new bolt

    

32. Lay LH rear main cabin carpet over LH outboard seat riser

    

    

33. Install LH front outboard seat riser fastener
    Note

    1x patch bolt, 11mm, 33.5 Nm, Install new bolt

    

34. Lay LH front cabin carpet over LH outboard seat riser

    

    

35. Install clips securing cabin carpet to seat riser
    Note

    4x clips

    

36. Install LH lower B pillar trim
    Note

    2x tabs, 1x locator tab, 9x clips, 1x push clip, Align the locator tab to slot, push in the direction of the arrow to install the clips after aligning them, then install both side tabs

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

37. Install LH lower C pillar trim
    Note

    7x clips, 2x guide tabs, Align guide tabs, Then press down to securing all clips

    

    

    

38. Partially install LH rear primary door seal
    Note

    Verify seal is seated properly on all trim panels

    

    

39. Install 2nd row seat cushion
    Note

    1x connector, Slide rear cushion rearward then align foam with seat rail, Make sure cushion is fully seated with push & pull test, And ensure the buckles get stuck under the 2nd row cushion

    

    

40. Install LH front seat into vehicle
    Note

    Recommend assistance, Install seat from front LH door opening, Assistant should be ready to support seat back once it is in the vehicle, Caution not to damage any trim

    

    

    

41. Secure LH front seat harness under LH front cabin carpet

    

42. Install clips securing LH seat harness to sill trim
    Note

    4x clips, Tuck excess harness between harness bracket and body

    

    

43. Connect LH front seat harness connector to LH controller
    Note

    1x connector, Engage locking tab

    

    

44. Install LH lower A pillar trim
    Note

    7x clips, 4x guide tabs, 1x push clip, Align guide tabs with body and harness bracket then push downwards to secure

    

    

    

45. Install LH IP end cap
    Note

    5x clips, 2x guide tabs

    

    

46. Partially install LH front primary door seal
    Note

    Verify seal is seated properly on all trim panels

    

    

47. Connect first responder loop and LV battery
    Note

    2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage green locking tab when fully seated

    

    

    

    

    

48. Install HEPA filter or big basin
    Note

    Vehicle configuration may vary, W/ HEPA: 2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Pivot forward edge down past frunk assembly, Then carefully move rear edge past brake reservoir and into position, Gently press on RH side of filter to seat seal onto duct, W/O HEPA: 2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, 14x clips, Secure basin fasteners then install basin cowl, Fold rear flap of base frunk back to access front row of clips to cowl, Replace any missing or damaged clips, Do not pinch washer line in between big basin and body

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

49. Close hood

    

    

50. Move LH front seat forward
    Note

    Via UI > Seat Controls, Use steering wheel scroll wheel as needed

    

    

51. Install LH front seat rear bolts
    Note

    2x patch bolts, TP45, 33.5 Nm, Install new patch bolts

    

52. Move LH front seat backward
    Note

    Via UI > Seat Controls, Use steering wheel scroll wheel as needed

    

    

53. Install LH front seat front bolts
    Note

    2x patch bolts, TP45, 33.5 Nm, Install new patch bolts

    

54. Install seat belt retractor to LH front seat pretensioner
    Note

    Insert retractor into seat pretensioner, Make sure it locks into position with push-pull-push test

    

    

55. Move LH front seat to original position
    Note

    Via UI > Seat Controls, Use steering wheel scroll wheel as needed

    

    

56. Raise all four window

    

57. Close all four doors
    Note

    Unlatch doors before closing if necessary
