Overhead Console (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Use a plastic trim tool to release the clips (x2) that attach the over head console to the headliner, and disconnect the over head console connector to remove it from the vehicle.
    Note
    Carefully insert the plastic trim tool to the lower edge of the over head console housing, and pry it outwards to release the clips (x2).

Install

  1. Connect the over head console connector, and then install the clips (x2) that attach the over head console to the headliner.
  2. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
