Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Move the driver seat rearward and adjust the seatback to a lower position to ensure sufficient clearance for operation near the console rear side panel.
- Lift up the center console armrest.

Release the clips that attach the inner armrest to the outer armrest.
NoteUse a trim tool and start from the top of the armrest to release the clips, then work towards the bottom.

Remove the screws (x4) that attach the
armrest hinge to the outer armrest, then remove the outer armrest from the
vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit
- Torque wrench with angle measurement

Position the outer armrest to the
center console, and then install the screws (x4) that attach the armrest hinge to the
outer armrest.1.2 Nm (.9 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit
- Torque wrench with angle measurement
- Align the locator pins, and then engage the clips that attach the inner armrest to the outer armrest.
- Close the center console armrest.
- Move the driver seat back to its original position.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
