Cover - E-Release - Liftgate (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Use a plastic trim tool to release the clips (x3) and tab that attach the E-release cover to the liftgate, and then remove the cover from the vehicle.

    Start to release from the side near the release switch.

    TIp
    Take care not to damage the liftgate trim.

Install

  1. Align the guide tab, and then install the clips (x3) that attach the E-release cover to the liftgate.

    Make sure that all clips are fully engaged.
  2. Close the liftgate.
