Remove

Raise and support vehicle
NoteEnsure vehicle is not charging, Remove charging cable if it's plugged in
- Remove the cowl screen. See Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the air intake duct. See Duct - Air Intake (Remove and Replace).

Move RH front seat backward
-
Partially release RH front primary
door seal
NoteFor remove RH IP end cap, RH lower A pillar trim, RH front B pillar trim

Remove RH IP end cap
Note5x clips, 2x guide tabs
-
Remove RH lower A pillar trim
Note7x clips, 4x guide tabs, 1x push clip, Pull rear of lower A-pillar upward to release clip then pull rearward to release front tabs from carpet

Release front RH cabin carpet cover
from RH knee air bag cover
Note1x connector, 2x magnets, 2x datums

Remove RH knee air bag cover from IP
carrier
Note2x connector, 5x tabs, 1x datum, 4x bolts, E10, 8 Nm, Discard bolts after removal, Remove 4x fasteners before unlatching airbag cover assembly, carefully remove connector for light by pressing tab and pulling, for airbag use pick tool to unlock tabs and release connector.

Remove console RH front side

Note14x clips, 2x datums, Use finger hole to release panel located at top edge of front side panel, Pull bottom to release remaining clips, Use caution and pull panel straight away from console to avoid damage
- Remove the LH and RH front wheel liners. See Wheel Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect front main harness from LH
side repeater camera

Disconnect front main harness from RH
side repeater camera

Lower vehicle partially and set lift
onto locks
NoteRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered, Set vehicle to comfortable working height

Release windshield heater

Release RH grommet from body

Remove electrical tape securing
harness bundle to rubber dust boot
NoteUse a razor blaze, carefully cut electrical tape away to expose rubber dust boot

Remove locking pin from connector
NoteCarefully pry pin out of connector and fully remove locking pin

Remove coax cable needed for the side
repeater overlay MY terminal 1 (LHS)
NoteInspect all components for damage

Remove coax cable needed for the side
repeater overlay MY terminal 2 (RHS)
NoteInspect all components for damage
Install
-
Apply harness tape onto LH and RH coax
overlay cables before installation
NoteUse Anti-abrasion tape and wrap the entire length of the coax cable to protect the cable for damage when it is in the vehicle

Position MY LH coax overlay cable into
place, Place through LH wheel liner
NotePull till you have roughly 12 inches of cable towards the interior of the vehicle

Pull LH coax overlay cable through
frunk harness
NotePull harness towards car computer and grommet, Route under steering electric steering column

Tape coax overlay onto fish nylon
tape
-
Pull LH coax overlay cable through
bulkhead and into interior cabin
-
Remove nylon fish tape
NoteRemove tape the pull nylon fish tape out of vehicle
-
Position MY RH coax overlay cable into
place, Place through RH wheel liner
NotePull till you have roughly 12 inches of cable towards the interior of the vehicle

Pull RH coax overlay cable through RH

Tape coax overlay onto fish nylon
tape

Pull RH coax overlay cable through
bulkhead and into interior cabin

Remove nylon fish tape
NoteRemove tape the pull nylon fish tape out of vehicle

Release side repeater cameras

Note1x connector, Release red tab before removing connector

Remove locking pin from side repeater
cameras connector
NoteCarefully pry pin out of connector and fully remove locking pin

Remove MY coax terminal 1 (LHS) cable
from connector
NoteInspect all components for damage

Insert new side repeater coax terminal
1 (LHS) cable onto side repeater cameras connector
NoteEnsure both coax cables are fully seated into connector, Audible locking and flush mounting to confirm

Remove MY coax terminal 2 (RHS) cable
from connector
NoteInspect all components for damage

Insert new side repeater coax terminal
2 (RHS) cable onto side repeater cameras connector
NoteEnsure both coax cables are fully seated into connector, Audible locking and flush mounting to confirm

Secure locking pin to connector
NoteAlign tabs of lock in connector housing, Ensure flush installation of locking pin to connector housing

Install side repeater cameras

Position MY LH coax overlay cable onto
frunk main harness, Secure cable onto harness using zip ties
Note11x zip-ties, Trim off excess material after harness has been secured

Cut off the vehicle side repeater coax
terminal and tape to vehicle harness
NoteCut the coax connector only

Connect front main harness to LH side
repeater camera
Note2x connectors, Engage locking tabs
-
Position MY RH coax overlay cable onto
frunk main harness, Secure cable onto harness using zip ties
Note5x zip-ties, Trim off excess material after harness has been secured

Cut off the vehicle side repeater coax
terminal and tape to vehicle harness
NoteCut the coax connector only

Connect front main harness to RH side
repeater camera
Note2x connectors, Engage locking tabs
-
Secure RH grommet from body
NoteUse electrical tape to wrap the end of the dust boot
- Install the LH and RH front wheel liners and wheels. See Wheel Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the air intake duct. See Duct - Air Intake (Remove and Replace).
- Install the cowl screen. See Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace).

Install frunk onto vehicle
Note4x clips, 3x tabs, 2x trim clips, Replace any clips if broken or missing, Ensure aero seal is positioned over frunk leading edge and not under leading edge

Install frunk access panel
Note3x clips, 1x connector

Install rear apron
Note16x trim clips, 3x locator pins, 2x clips, Replace any missing or damaged clips, Ensure pyrotechnic hood actuators are aligned with openings in apron

Close hood
-
Install console RH front side
panel
Note14x clips, 2x locating pins, Ensure all clips and pins seat propely

Install RH knee air bag cover to IP
carrier
Note2x connector, 5x tabs, 1x location pin, 4x bolts, E10, 8 Nm, Install new bolts, After reconnecting 2x harness assure 5x datum's and location pin align prior to re-attaching air bag cover assembly, insert 4x e10 bolts to secure air bag assembly after re-attachment

Secure front RH cabin carpet cover to
RH knee air bag cover
Note1x connector, 2x magnets, 2x datums

Install RH lower A pillar trim
Note7x clips, 4x guide tabs, 1x push clip, Align front guide tabs then align slot with harness bracket and then push rear clip to secure, Make sure all clips and tabs fully seated

Install RH IP end cap
Note5x clips, 2x guide tabs, Pull the seal over end cap

Install RH front primary door
seal
NoteVerify seal is seated properly on all trim panels

Move RH front seat to original
position

Raise RH front window
-
Close RH front door
-
Verify operation of windshield washers
and wipers

Clear DAS Calibration through UI
NoteControls > Service > Camera Calibration, Select Clear Calibration, Verify calibration was cleared successfully, Wait for prompt to disappear automatically before continuing, Calibration in Progress message and progress icon will appear during the next drive cycle

Raise LH front window
-
Close LH front door
