- 2026-07-09: Updated the steps to maneuver the halfshafts for drive unit installation/removal; adjusted the step sequence of torquing the rear damper mounting bolt; added two alternative methods for setting the rear suspension to ride height.
Remove
- Remove the rear drive unit. See Rear Drive Unit - 3DU - High Current (Remove and Replace)

Position the rear drive unit above an
empty rear drive unit crate.
NoteUse a pallet if no crate is available.

Install the bushing removal tool on
the RH bushing.

Press bushing out from casting.

When the bushing has been pushed out
of the drive unit, separate the bushing removal tool, and then remove it from the drive
unit.
Replace

Set up the bushing tool to press in
the new bushing.

Press in RH bushing.

Separate the bushing tool and remove
from drive unit.
