Instrument Panel Riser - LH (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Remove

  1. Remove the LH center console front side panel. See Side Panel - Front - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the bolts (x2) and the nut that secure the LH instrument panel riser bracket.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 3 in extension
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • 10 mm deep socket/13 mm socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  3. Remove the LH instrument panel riser bracket.

Install

  1. Place the LH instrument panel riser bracket into the vehicle.
  2. Install the bolts (x2) and the nut that secure the LH instrument panel riser bracket.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    25 Nm (18.4 lbs-ft)
    Note
    The 10mm bolt is 6 Nm. The 13mm nut and bolt are 25 Nm.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 3 in extension
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • 10 mm deep socket/13 mm socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  3. Install the LH center console front side panel. See Side Panel - Front - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
