Remove

Remove the driver seat outboard
sideshield. See Side Shield - Outboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
NoteNo need to remove the 8 way and lumbar switch assembly from the outboard sideshield.
- Disconnect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).

Disconnect the electrical connector
from the pretensioner.

Remove and discard the bolt that
attaches the lap pretensioner to the seat track.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket

Remove the lap pretensioner from the
seat track.
Install

Install a new bolt to attach the lap
pretensioner to the seat track.
40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T50 socket

Connect the electrical connector to
the pretensioner.
- Connect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
- Install the driver seat outboard sideshield. See Side Shield - Outboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
