Front Undertray - Valance Front Fascia (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the push clips (x6) that attach the LH and RH sides of the valance to the wheel arch liners.

    Remove the outer clips as necessary to allow for easier access to the bolts behind the wheel liner.
  3. Remove the bolts (x2) at the LH and RH corners of the valance.

    The bolts are accessed from behind the front of the wheel arch liners.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T40 socket
  4. Release the clip that attaches the pedestrian warning harness to the speaker, and then disconnect the pedestrian warning connector.
  5. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the valance to the front fascia.

  6. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the valance to the front fascia.

  7. Release the locating tabs (x6) that attach the valance to the front fascia, and then remove the valance from the vehicle.
  8. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the pedestrian warning speaker to the valance, and then remove the speaker from the valance.

Install

  1. Install the pedestrian warning speaker to the valance, and then install the screws (x3) that attach the pedestrian warning speaker to the valance.
    2.25 Nm (1.7 lbs-ft)

  2. Install the locating tabs (x6) that attach the valance to the front fascia.
  3. Install the bolts (x4) that attach the valance to the front fascia.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)

  4. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the valance to the front fascia.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

  5. Connect the pedestrian warning connector, and then install the clip that attaches the pedestrian warning harness to the speaker.
  6. Install the bolts (x2) at the LH and RH corners of the valance.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)

  7. Install the push clips (x6) that attach the LH and RH sides of the valance to the wheel liners.
  8. Install the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
