Remove

  1. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  3. Remove the LH 2nd row seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH lower C- pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (5-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the trunk sill trim. See Trunk Sill Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the LH load floor bracket. See Bracket - Load Floor - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the LH trunk pocket bracket. See Pocket Bracket - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the LH trunk side trim. See Trunk Side Trim LH - Rear Under Body (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the LH upper C- pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  10. Disconnect the LH 2nd row retractor connector.
  11. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the LH rear upper D-ring to the adjustable top loop.

    • 13 mm deep socket
  12. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the LH 2nd row retractor assembly to the body.

Install

  1. Install a new bolt that attaches the LH 2nd row retractor assembly to the body.
    35 Nm (25.8 lbs-ft)

  2. Install a new bolt that attaches the LH rear upper D-ring to the adjustable top loop.
    30 Nm (22.1 lbs-ft)

  3. Connect the LH 2nd row retractor connector.
  4. Install the LH upper C- pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the LH trunk side trim. See Trunk Side Trim LH - Rear Under Body (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the LH trunk pocket bracket. See Pocket Bracket - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the LH load floor bracket. See Bracket - Load Floor - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Install the trunk sill trim. See Trunk Sill Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
  9. Install the LH lower C- pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (5-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install the LH 2nd row seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  11. Connect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  12. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
