Remove the LH rear door closeout panel
assembly. See WINDOW REGULATOR CLOSEOUT - REAR DOOR - LEFT HAND (Remove and Replace).
NoteIt is not necessary to remove the LH rear door pressure sensor, window motor and the window regulator from the door closeout panel assembly.
- Disconnect the LH rear door electrical harness from the LH rear door latch connector.

Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH rear door latch to the rear of the LH rear
door.
NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- Press the latch cable grommet in through the door, and move the cable in through the opening while simultaneously removing the latch from the door.
Install
- Feed the latch cable through the opening, and then install the grommet.

Install the bolts (x3) that attach the LH rear door latch to the rear of the LH rear
door.10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- Connect the LH rear door electrical harness to the LH rear door latch connector.
- Install the LH rear door closeout panel assembly. See WINDOW REGULATOR CLOSEOUT - REAR DOOR - LEFT HAND (Remove and Replace).
