Lower Support Bracket - Speaker - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the center console assembly. See Center Console (Without the Key Card Assembly) (6-Seat) (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the 2nd row cup holder assembly. See Cup Holder Assembly - 2nd Row (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the clip that attaches the center console harness connector to the lower speaker support bracket.
  4. Remove the screws (x6) that attach the lower speaker support bracket to the center console.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  5. Remove the lower speaker support bracket from the center console.

    Note
    Spread the two sides outward, and then remove the bracket upward.

Install

  1. Align the location pins (x2) to the holes on the center console, and then install the lower speaker support bracket to the center console.

    Ensure both sides are securely installed in place.
  2. Install the screws (x6) that attach the lower speaker support bracket to the center console.
    1.2 Nm (.9 lbs-ft)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Install the clip that attaches the center console harness connector to the lower speaker support bracket.
  4. Install the 2nd row cup holder assembly. See Cup Holder Assembly - 2nd Row (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the center console assembly. See Center Console (Without the Key Card Assembly) (6-Seat) (Remove and Install).
