Remove
- Remove the liftgate lower trim. See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM - REAR SPEAKER (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect the cinch latch connector.

Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the cinch latch to the liftgate.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 4 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Slide the cinch latch up and release the tabs (x2), and then remove the cinch latch from the liftgate.
Install
- Slide the cinch latch tabs (x2) into the liftgate.

Install the bolts (x3) that attach the cinch latch to the liftgate.10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 4 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Connect the cinch latch connector.
- Install the liftgate lower trim. See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM - REAR SPEAKER (Remove and Replace).
