Lightbar - Front (Remove and Install)

Torque Specifications

  • 10 mm socket
  • Ratchet/torque wrench
  • 4 in extension
  • Wiha Torque Screwdriver 0.8-5 Nm screwdriver (installation only)
 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the front lightbar assembly connector.
  3. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the front lightbar center assembly to the front end module.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • 4 in extension
    • Wiha Torque Screwdriver 0.8-5 Nm screwdriver (installation only)
  4. Release the clips (x2) and the location tab to remove the front lightbar assembly.

Install

  1. Engage the clips (x2) and the location tab to install the front lightbar assembly.
  2. Install the bolts (x4) that attach the front lightbar center assembly to the front end module.
    3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)

  3. Connect the front lightbar assembly connector.
  4. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
