Speaker - Front Door (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the LH front door trim panel. See Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the front door speaker.
  3. Remove the lower left bolt that attaches the front door speaker to the door.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
  4. Remove the remaining bolts (x3) that attach the front door speaker to the door, and then remove the speaker from the vehicle.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket

Install

  1. Position the front door speaker to the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the front door speaker to the door.
    3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  2. Install the lower left bolt that attaches the front door speaker to the door.
    4.5 Nm (3.3 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the front door speaker.
  4. Install the LH front door trim panel. See Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
