Liftgate Lower Trim (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the liftgate upper trim. See Liftgate Upper Trim (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the clips and tabs, and then remove the liftgate lower trim.
    Note
    When removing the last clip, hold the trim with one hand to prevent it from suddenly falling and damaging the connector.
  3. Disconnect the liftgate trim connector.

Install

  1. Connect the liftgate trim connector.
  2. Check the clips and replace any damaged clips.
  3. Align the locating pins to the hole and secure the clips and tabs to install the liftgate lower trim.
  4. Install the liftgate upper trim. See Liftgate Upper Trim (Remove and Replace).
