Procedure
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- On the touchscreen, tap to enable Wiper Service Mode.
- Clean the wiper blades and the windshield thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol wipes, or equivalent.

Press and hold the wiper button to spray the windshield with the washer
jets.
Note
- The drive rail must be on.
- The doors may need to be closed depending on regions.

Cycle wiper blades in high speed, and then inspect the cleaning pattern of
the wiper blades:
- If no streaking nor chattering of the windshield is present, discontinue this procedure.
- If streaking or chattering of the windshield is present, continue to the next step.
- Remove the LH and RH wiper blades. See Wiper Blade - LH (Remove and Replace) and Wiper Blade - RH (Remove and Replace).
- Verify that the measurement plate on the wiper adjustment tool rotates freely.
- Loosen the thumbscrew on the tool, and slide the tool onto the end of the LH wiper arm.
- Tighten the thumbscrew, and make sure that both plastic points are resting on the windshield.
- Check the wiper arm angle, and use a 24 mm wrench to rotate the tool as necessary to set the correct angle. Adjust the wiper arm angle to -4 (+/- 0.5).
- Remove the adjustment tool from the LH wiper arm.
- Repeat step 8 to step 11 for the RH wiper arm.
- Install the LH and RH wiper blades. See Wiper Blade - LH (Remove and Replace) and Wiper Blade - RH (Remove and Replace).
- Using the touchscreen, remove the vehicle from Wiper Service Mode.
- Spray the windshield with the washer jets and verify operation. If streaking or chattering still persists, replace the wiper blades and repeat this procedure.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
