Function check LH front door (exterior)

NoteDocument any abnormal operation/noises

Function check wipers and spray jets
NoteEnsure hood and doors are closed prior to activating wipers, Inspect and note functionality for wipers and wiper jets, Check for full range of motion, speed of motion, interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions

Remove rear apron
Note16x trim clips, 3x location pins, 2x clips

Check brake fluid level
NoteTop off if necessary

Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary
NoteEnsure that fluid level is at Max line, Vacuum fill required if greater than 1L lost during repair

Fill washer reservoir with fluid

Install rear apron
Note16x trim clips, 3x location pins, 2x clips, Replace any missing or damaged clips, Ensure pyrotechnic hood actuators are aligned with openings in apron

Close hood

Raise vehicle partially and lower lift onto locks
NoteSet vehicle to a comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side

Remove bolts securing front aero shield
Note7x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

Remove front aero shield
Note2x nuts, 15mm, 8 Nm

Remove rear aero shield clips
Note2x clips, One clip on LH side wheel liner, One clip on RH side wheel liner

Remove rear aero shield
Note11x bolts, 2x tabs, 10mm, 5 Nm

Remove LH rear suspension aero cover
Note2x tabs, 1x bolt, 10mm, 5 Nm

Remove RH rear suspension aero cover
Note2x tabs, 1x bolt, 10mm, 5 Nm

Record tread depth for LH rear tire
NoteMeasure and record the outer, center, and inner tread depths, Measure the circumferential tire grooves only, Do not place the tire tread gauge probe on the molded treadwear indicators, Recommend replacement if tread depth is 4/32in (3mm) or less

Measure and record LH rear brake pad thickness
NoteRecommend replacement if 2mm or less, Check both inboard and outboard pads

Inspect LH rear brake rotor condition
NoteCheck for excessive rust or wear, Minimum spec: See technical data

Record tread depth for RH rear tire
NoteMeasure and record the outer, center, and inner tread depths, Measure the circumferential tire grooves only, Do not place the tire tread gauge probe on the molded treadwear indicators, Recommend replacement if tread depth is 4/32in (3mm) or less

Perform visual inspection of all brake pipes and hoses
NotePay special attention to brake junction points

Check all four tire pressures manually
Note4x tires, Set to specification if necessary, Refer to the "Tire and Loading Information" label located on the driver side B-pillar, Inspect wheels and tires for any bulges or damage while checking/setting pressures

Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
NoteSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged

Perform visual inspection of HV battery enclosure
NoteCheck for any dents, scrapes, or other damage

Inspect underside of vehicle for fluid leaks
NotePay special attention to hose connection points

Inspect RH front brake rotor condition
NoteCheck for excessive rust or wear, Minimum spec: See technical data

Perform inspection of front suspension components
NoteCheck conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed

Perform inspection of rear suspension components
NoteCheck conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed

Perform inspection of steering components
NoteCheck steering gear joints and electrical connections, Verify components are not bent or damaged

Install RH rear suspension cover
Note2x tabs, 1x bolt, 10mm, 5 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 onto rear suspension cover bolt

Install LH rear suspension aero cover
Note2x tabs, 1x bolt, 10mm, 5 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 onto rear suspension aero cover bolt

Install rear aero shield
Note2x tabs, 11x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Position rear datums first, Apply Loctite 222 onto rear aero shield bolts

Install rear aero shield clips
Note2x clips, One clip on LH side wheel liner, One clip on RH side wheel liner
-
Position front aero shield onto vehicle
Note2x datums, 2x nuts, 15mm, 8 Nm, Hand-tighten the nuts to temporarily hold the panel in place
-
Install front aero shield onto vehicle
Note7x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 onto front aero shield bolts and install fasteners to front aero shield

Remove vehicle from lift
NoteLower rack arms fully and remove from under vehicle

Perform a road test using a series of ABS-active stops and ensure proper brake pedal feel and performance
NoteThe vehicle must stop completely within 25 feet (7.6 meters) at 20 mph (32 kph), Confirm that no excessive vibration or noise is present

Inspect vehicles alignment
NoteConfirm steering wheel is straight and no vibrations or noises are felt or heard from the suspension, On a flat road, at 35 mph (56 kph), the vehicle does not pull in either direction
