Open all four doors
Lower all four windows

Release LH front primary door seal near LH end cap
Remove LH IP end cap

Remove LH sun visor bracket cover

Remove LH sun visor from headliner

1x screw, T25, 3.5 Nm, 1x connector, Fold sun visor to the closed and folded down position but do not latch in place
Partially release RH front primary door seal

Adjust position of RH front seat for easy removal

Open hood
Power off vehicle from center display

Via Controls > Safety > Power Off, Select Power Off button at warning dialogue box
Remove HEPA filter or big basin

Vehicle configuration may vary, W/ HEPA: 2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Pivot rear edge up past brake reservoir then lift up to clear frunk assembly, W/O HEPA: 2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, 14x clips, Fold rear lip of base frunk forward to access forward cowl clips, Lift cowl clips to release basin bracket
Disconnect LV battery and first responder loop

2x connectors, Release green locking tab, Press black tab then pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL, Allow 2 minutes for all electrical circuits to fully discharge
Release seat belt retractor from RH front seat pre tensioner

Insert seat belt release tool in bottom of retractor to release
Disconnect RH front seat harness connector from RH body controller

Remove RH lower B pillar trim

2x tabs, 1x locator tab, 9x clips, 1x push clip, Release both top side tabs, first pull upper half trim toward inside of the car, and then pull lower half trim outward to release all clips
Release RH upper B pillar trim

2x edge clips, 2x clips, 2x locator pins, Pull the bottom of the upper B-pillar toward inside of the car, then pull the top to release the remaining clips
Remove RH B-pillar applique

2x connectors, 3x clips, 2x adhesive strips, 1x hook, 1x datum, Peel lower section of seal away from body to release adhesive, Gently pry away lower section of applique to release clips, Pry directly on clip when releasing upper seal clip as otherwise it may separate from seal, Release locking tabs

Remove RH rear door harness connector from B-pillar area

Remove RH body harness ground strap from RH rear sill area

Remove LH upper C-pillar trim

Release rear section of headliner

4x clips, Allow headliner to droop, Pull down as required to provide access to TCU
Remove TCU fastening bolts from body and remove

2x edge clips, 2x clips, 2x locator pins, Lower the seat belt slider to align it with the B-pillar panel, align the locating pin of the B-pillar upper trim panel with the slot, push in the direction of the arrow to install the clips after aligning them
Install RH lower B pillar trim

2x tabs, 1x locator tab, 9x clips, 1x push clip, Align the locator tab to slot, push in the direction of the arrow to install the clips after aligning them, then install both side tabs
Clean residual adhesive from B-pillar

Note
Wipe surface with IPA once free from adhesive residue, Allow 1 minute for IPA to dry
Replace double-sided tape on B-pillar applique seal

Note
Cut two sections of tape to match original adhesive strips, Apply to seal at indicated locations
Install RH B-pillar applique

Note
2x connectors, 3x clips, 2x adhesive strips, 1x hook, 1x datum, Peel backing off double-sided adhesive, Secure connectors then engage locking tabs, Align hook by sliding upwards then push inwards from bottom of applique to secure clips, Apply pressure to applique seal to wet out adhesive strips
Install RH upper C-pillar trim

7x clips, 4x location pins, 2x guide tabs, Insert guide tab to headliner behind quarterglass, Seat trunk seal to edge of trim
Install RH trunk side trim

Install RH trunk pocket bracket

Partially install RH rear primary door seal

Verify seal is seated properly on all trim panels
Install RH front seat into vehicle

Recommend assistance, Install seat from front RH door opening, Assistant should be ready to support seatback once it is in the vehicle, Caution not to damage any trim
Secure RH front seat harness under RH front cabin carpet
Connect RH front seat harness to RH controller

Install RH lower A pillar trim

7x clips, 4x guide tabs, 1x push clip, Align front guide tabs then align slot with harness bracket and then push rear clip to secure, Make sure all clips and tabs fully seated
Connect first responder loop and LV battery

2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage green locking tab when fully seated
Install HEPA filter or big basin

Vehicle configuration may vary, W/ HEPA: 2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Pivot forward edge down past frunk assembly, Then carefully move rear edge past brake reservoir and into position, Gently press on RH side of filter to seat seal onto duct, W/O HEPA: 2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, 14x clips, Secure basin fasteners then install basin cowl, Fold rear flap of base frunk back to access front row of clips to cowl, Replace any missing or damaged clips, Do not pinch washer line in between big basin and body
Close hood
Move 2nd row 40 seatback to vertical position

Move RH front seat backward
Install RH front seat front bolts

2x patch bolts, TP45, 33.5 Nm, Install new patch bolts
Move RH front seat forward

Note
Adjust seatback if needed to avoid contacting headliner
Install RH front seat rear bolts

Note
2x patch bolts, TP45, 33.5 Nm, Install new patch bolts
Install seat belt retractor to RH front seat pre tensioner

Note
Insert retractor into seat pre tensioner, Make sure it locks into position with push-pull-push test
Install 2nd row seat cushion

Note
1x connector, Slide rear cushion rearward then align foam with seat rail, Make sure cushion is fully seated with push & pull test, And ensure the buckles get stuck under the 2nd row cushion
Move RH front seat to original position

Via UI > Seat Controls
Move LH front seat to original position

Note
Via UI > Seat Controls, Use steering wheel scroll wheel as needed
Install front end of headliner

Note
5x clips, 1x location pin, Pull seal over headliner
Install RH sun visor to headliner

Note
1x screw, T25, 3.5 Nm, 1x connector, Fold sunvisor to the closed and folded down position but do not latch in place
Install RH sun visor bracket cover

Note
4x tabs
Install RH upper A pillar trim

Note
5x clips, 2x guide tabs, 1x datum, 1x tether, Slide lower section of trim into slot on IP, Secure tether to body, Engage clips working bottom to top, Ensure primary seal rests over trim, Tether may vary by revision
Install RH IP end cap

Note
5x clips, 2x guide tabs, Pull the seal over end cap
Install RH front primary door seal

Note
Verify seal is seated properly on all trim panels
Install LH sun visor to headliner

Note
1x screw, T25, 3.5 Nm, 1x connector, Fold sunvisor to the closed and folded down position but do not latch in place
Install LH sun visor bracket cover

Note
4x tabs
Install LH upper A pillar trim

Raise all four window
Close all four doors

Unlatch doors before closing if necessary
